Melbourne Cup Winner Viewed has died

The champion thoroughbred race horse called Viewed has died. After suffering complications in the bowel, Viewed has died. Viewed was trained by Bart Cummings for the 2008 Melbourne Cup. The 2008 Melbourne Cup Winner was Viewed in what was one of the closet finishes ever for the Melbounre Cup race.

The race that stops a nation was won by Viewed in 2008 and Bauer came in second in a photo finish. This Melbourne Cup win gave Bart Cummings his 12th Melbourne Cup Winner has a trainer. Bart is a champion trainer and has trained an enormous amount of Group 1 winners.

Viewed who was six years old won the 2009 Caulfield Cup but didn't perform so well afterwards. After Viewed died, the horse was bured in NSW Southern Highlands. Duncan Ramage who is Dato Tan's bloodstock manager was extermely sad. Ramage bought Viewed for $50000 which was a bargain since it has won more than 100 times that in prize money.

Viewed has won more than 6 million dollars in prize money. After winning his first race in February 2007, Viewed went on to win many great races. He has won the Brisbane Cup and many other famous cup races.

The passing of Viewed will be a large loss to the race horse industry and also to the future breeding industry.
